The similarities between these bands are endless, and yet UnSun stands out for a few reasons. Aya, the bands lead singer, has a distinct, ditsy voice that would fit in the euro-pop scene and yet is used for a metal band. Another interest is Maurycy "Mauser" Stefanowicz's decision to quit his position as guitarist for Vader to form UnSun.

Originally named Unseen, they later changed their name to UnSun to reflect their blending of death metal influences and melodic vocals. Unsun was formed in 2006 by me and Mauser. We are from Poland. Our actual line-up: Me as a singer -Aya- (Anna Stefanowicz), Mauser (Maurycy Stefanowicz) on the guitar, Gonzo (Wojtek Blaszkowski) and on the bass Patrick (Patryk Malinowski). In early 2008, Anna and Maurycy Stefanowicz began writing their first album, The End of Life, which was recorded at Studio-X in 2008, and was released worldwide through Century Media Records on 22 September 2008. The same year UnSun did Black Sun Tour in Poland with Votum and Black River.
