Run and write activity
Running dictation is an exercise that has always worked well with teenagers. This game can also be simplified for low level kids. With running dictation, a teacher cuts out a short text and makes about 4 copies. The teacher pastes copies of these texts on the four ends of the classroom or even out of the classroom.

In this amusing dictation activity, students transcribe a text and replace humorous or nonsense words with the correct vocabulary. Dictate the text to the students who transcribe what you say word for word, including the funny or nonsense words. Repeat the dictation as needed until the students have completed the text.
