Posted 02-22-17 Hey everyone! So to try and keep this short.I have read up on nub theory and just recently learned of stacked nubs. The top picture is from 11 weeks (I know it's not accurate that early) and the bottom is 12 weeks 5 days. Does that really look like stacking to you in the bottom one?

A nub is your baby's genitals in development. The genital tubercle bump (nub) will start to develop from around 8 weeks in gestation, this can be seen via ultrasound from as early as 9 weeks. However, accurately assessing your baby's nub is not reliable enough until the 12th week.

3. Determine the nub angle. Boy = 30° or greater. Girl = 10° or less. Inconclusive = 10° to 30°. In the diagram, the horizontal line (0°) is the baseline (baby's lower spine). A nub with a pronounced lift is in the boy range; if it's barely raised, level, or aiming downward, it's in the girl range.

If you choose to go for another scan to prep for boy, I would do it around 15w..unless you want another nub shot..then I would go in the 13th week. Congrats to you and your family on your baby! There are quite a few confirmed girl stacked nubs I've found, but the only difference that gets me with mine is the bottom line doesn't seem as long and skinny as it should if it was a girl. Any chance that the top part of the stack is the leg that is showing up in the back? haha. I know, slim chance.
