Costumes, fashion accessories and textiles dating from the 1660's to the present day are all housed in Platt Hall, a beautiful Georgian textile merchant's house located within the grounds of Platt Fields Park. You can see everything from mill workers' clogs and shawls to extravagant Vivienne West-wood outfits in one the country's largest clothing collections, containing over twenty thousand items.
